This is the second of two Cherry Creek locations, known as the Old Schoolhouse, located a mile west of Michigan International Speed-way. The site serves as the hub of all Cherry Creek’s winemaking, bottling and distribution. “It’s a beautiful location for a winery,” says Denise Burtka, owner and operator. Dreams realized John and Denise Burtka’s vision of opening Cherry Creek was conceived in Parma in 2003, when the couple purchased five acres of land next to St. Julian’s tasting room.
